You can buy ready made/trailer mounted inertia dynos and I would think making one designed to be stationary into a portable unit would be a huge PIA. I dunno what the price of the portable units are now but back a few years ago when dyno racing was just starting to catch on you could pick up an inertia unit for ~$10k ready to go.

So there is going to be a chassis dyno in Salem huh... Wonder what the first street legal car to peg the 1000ftlb limit will be? (none of that having goober at podunks garage slap an inspection sticker on a race car for a 12 pack bs either)

i got an F550 that will peg it on torque

Yeah, those oil burners make insane torque but ya better hope there isnt a weight limit on the dyno though .

its not THAT heavy...at least without the trailer. Banks makes some cool shit. i smoked a civic in that bitch coming back from Magic City a few weeks ago. i loved that shit.
