I already had it rebuilt(like 2000 miles ago), so that is out of the question, I'm guessing either the groove on the shaft is fucked or the ring is bad..

btw, "turbine piston ring" is the/a correct name for it.

-4an feed line w/ 1/16" restrictor

-9/16" return all downhill

The setup is perfect, I mean I know what I'm doing.. I'm of course going to index the shaft/compressor before I take it off, but if I HAVE to get another turbine shaft then I would get it balanced(seperately and as an assembly as well if they do it)..

Hell, I even have an angle cut tube in the exhaust pipe for crankcase evacuation..

It does not burn oil until after a full throttle run, then after I let off the gas it billows out a good amount..

Thanks for the shop recommendation though

Thats definitely not the problem, why do you say that? I just started using this setup, compared to having everything open to a catchcan..

The angle cut tube made little to no difference, but it's a better setup anyways.. regardless, its not what started it, because I have been having this problem with the turbo since day one when it was rebuilt(before the angle cut tube)..

the facts: http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1199935

I didn't want to turn this thread into a debate lol..

trust me, I have hours and hours of dyno time working on crankcase evac using the exhaust stream. where is your tube placed in the exhaust?
and, 9/16" is too small, I had 5/8" on my honda and it smoked a bit, put 3/4" on and fixed it.

Well you can't really argue with meters and the testing the guy did. I can try 3/4" but 99% of the turbo honda's use -10an with no problems..

The tube is just after my test pipe, after the wideband o2.. 45 deg cut, pipe is in at a 45 deg angle.. 3/8" ID tube, going to the catchcan, which has the valve cover breather and PCV valve location(of course with no pcv valve) connected to it..

Did you have a restrictor on your honda? 80+ psi + turbo = oil leakage

Do you have a oil inlet line restrictor? if not, get one. if so, what size is the restriction?

what do you think let to the turbo to go bad so soon? was it a brand new turbo?
i got lots of flack from that metro deisel place for taking them turbos to do stuff to. and for ordering. i would even take them a part number, and they still didn't want to order it. thats why they remain a small local hole in the wall business.
