1: I wouldn't own/drive a convertible anything.
2: De-ricing vehicles is harder than it seems, typically if rice accessories are present, anything else has had its corners cut.
3: Powerdyne blowers are a joke on cars.
4: It's a convertible, of course it's heavy.
5: It could be an old guys dream car, and the price is right.

Heiss, jet ski is on the list... If I wasn't at a beach last year, I was at the lake every friday/saturday. Unless anything major happens... I predict that again this year. I want an older sea doo xp, 2-seater.

 

That would be great. Riding out on the lake is so fun. I think this summer we're picking up a Yamaha Superjet, the standup kind. Just to have some fun. I would love to have one of the kawi 2-stroke jet skis, those things can be scary fast.

I agree, that bike is stupid fast. He was just playing around with me, but I expected him to leave me like I was standing still. Had I been in the Supra, I think it would've been that way, due to the lag. But none the less, we'll go out an play again. I'm sure he's just toying around, he just wants to know how much he will beat me, not if he will beat me.

He said that bikes just don't do great above 120-130 because believe it or not, the aerodynamics of them are worse than a sports car at those speeds; go figure? Who knows, but that's what he was saying

Ehhh, 120-130 is a little low IMO for aerodynamics to be a factor. I think that becomes a bit more of an issue at 140+ or so. Maybe he's geared and lost a lot of top end in the process of gaining a lot of low end grunt, but if he were geared that way he probably would have handed you a pair of binoculars before you two hit the road so you could check him out in the distance. lol! There's really no good reason or good place in the area to be going that fast anyway though.

So that car must be running well regardless though. I'll have to check it out one day.

 

I agree. There just aren't many good places around here to see 140+ speeds, it just isn't smart. Out west would be another story.

Until I get wider tires (i have 275s right now), and drag radials on the back, traction will continue to be an issue for me. Any hard punch under 40 or so and it's difficult to get going. I felt the tires let lose some the other day going close to 90 when I punched it at the top of 3rd - that was not a cool feeling.

 

I wouldn't mind doing some highway pulls
