The 95% ricers & 5% non stands true. With that said the huge 5% cause we are speaking Honda/Teg ect do it real nice. Lets just say Garen you are a rare bread

 

Spoken like a trooper. How is this statement being ignorant. I didn't mean any offense, just my opinion and just about anyone that is over the age of 25 years old. If you want power from the honda motor you have to turbocharge it. Sure the heads flow great, they are good on gas, and the resale is nice, but it's no street racer like most kids think.

 

If you want any real power from any 4 cylinder, you have to boost it, whats your point? lol.. Of course there are plenty of fast NA honda's out there too.

Your statement is ignorant because you have no idea what you are talking about, you worked at a Honda dealership, that pretty much proves it.

Since when did they make cars to be "street racers"? seriously I mean come on now, there are honda's out there that would run with any other type of street car, same with other cars, vise versa..

 

I do and dont agree with dude (MVaughn) as a whole (far as this area ). There is few/rare NA built Honda/Tegs thats are heavy hitters. Then there are some turbo Honda/Tegs here make good bit of noise. Just as a whole there not much here (Here being my main point). But outside of this region its a whole different ball game. Like Garen said it all on what you know. From what people know not may people know much around here.

 

My point is that 99% of the street hondas are not very fast. You need to have a power adder. I worked at a dealership but none of my experience came from that place. I have been into drag racing since 1989, building, fabricating, and going to the track. For you to say "that pretty much proves it" is really a empty statement in itself.
As far as the statement of when they made street racers. Most of the people and we were talking about in this area think there hondas are fast, stickering them, putting big wings on them, revving them at anyone who will look there way.....I enjoy a fast car just as much as anyone else here.

 

My comments were not to talk bad about other models. I just don't understand why people sticker them, wing them to ungodly heights, rev them at everyone like they have a street killer. I would love to meet up with other breeds of cars that have done modifications with taste and talk garage. I am not a honda hater at all, but I guess I do sterotype most of the owners that make them look like a (fast and furious) look a like. That movie has really warped the thoughts of the younger generation. Just me thinking out loud.

 

I have said and will say it again, Roanoke is the rice basket of the world lol..

It just so happens that civics are cheap/plentiful, so 16 yr old g thug gets his moms civic, then slaps every accessory he can from autozone on it..
