Its never gonna die. People have been doing this shit for years in one way or antother, "drifting" is just a way for us to do it at legal events and not just in parking lots and back roads.

 

Its not hard to understand, come to an event and il give you a ride, its just a way to have fun in your car, we build them to drive them and have fun, not sit and look at them.

That's why I won't buy another 240 for a couple of years. Crashed mine like 2 years ago, and when I had it, no one cared. Then the damn thing became mainstream and all of a sudden, its the new Civic.

Every one wants one, and every one who has one thinks they can drift. And as a result, you'll find one in the junkyard every week.

They turned my favorite car into a whore...oh well time to try something new I guess.


On the issue of drifting though, I agree with the idea that it isn't drifting that is annoying, but the posers who are just into it because it's the new thing. These are the same guys that just a year ago were in riced out Civics with mad tyte altezza style tailights and neon underbody kits...

Drifting is fun as hell and beautiful to watch when you have people who know what they're doing. It'll always be around. The posers won't.
