I was like oh shit when the trooper asked me if I had any weapons in the vehicle and that I had to open my door so he could see my hands.


That was when he still thought I evidently was a hispanic looking for trouble.

 

I've been hearing the same thing from a lot of my friends over the past year; several have been pulled over coming from NoVa on the way to VIR specifically for trailer issues (even on ones with valid inspections but the cop found issues with the trailer). This was happening on Rt. 29 in Madison County and was usually a certain female state trooper. Does seem like it was a priority for the cops as they were pulling over several trailers at a time.

I will still be out there, just working in grid till I get the car back together. I am at school and also will be gone for 3 months in China, so it may be a little while before she is on track again.

It really sucked cause I finally got all my oil leak issues/boost leak/maintenance issues worked out (aside from the brand new rebuilt turbo having fucked turbo seals, was gonna be replaced under warranty). I guess its the curse of track cars, you finally get her good, and then fuck her up yourself lol.

Since this incident she is just going straight track car. So ill be stripping her and putting in a cage. Try to lose 3-400 lbs off of her at least and finally put more than just springs/shocks on her.


BTW that Panoz was beautiful, I had to admire that car everytime I walked over to grid almost pitying myself for breaking my car and not being out with you guys.

Dave, I hope you got that issue worked out with the accord and hope to see you out there. I will just wave from grid for now

Ill probably be getting a truck or my mom offered me her mercedes station wagon for free, so that may be the plan and then get a truck and trailer out of college. Thanks for the support guys.
