Anybody know when we can sign up for this?

I am itching to get the new car out on track

 

Tarek- make sure you join NASA. It's required before signing up for any of their events. Also take a look at running with the MazdaDrivers events.....a little more track time for the same or less money.

ive thought about doing this but id rather wait until i get a little bit more than like 200hp tho. i wouldnt feel right running only like 130-150hp. lol.


how often do they have these races?

 

why wouldnt you? you should learn your car before yo go thier going super fast and not know what to do taking a curve at the limit

 

very true. i forgot about that. lol. for these events, what would i need to know? what kind fo cars are allowed? do you bring your own car? is it expesive?

It's all driver. The car has very little to do with it. You'll see Miatas schooling Corvettes and Porsches... in the school groups at least.

The rules are mostly for racing, which you'll need to work up to. You'd be doing HPDE 1, beginner group, passing only on the straights, with an instructor riding along, and several classroom sessions a day:

Any car that passes tech is allowed. Yes you bring your own car. Entry fees are usually about $350 a weekend for HPDE.
