Well its a 2 day event and its at ACU4 so expect 50-60 second runs. And its a chance to see how you do against people from around the country.

NOTE: You do need to be a SCCA member so dont forget to add that into the total $.

Afterseeing the Tour in DC I was more ready to race than ever. I got a chance to talk to people and learn some stuff which is what made the 8 hours of total drive time worth it.

my cousin in ATL is coming up to race the southeast division race, im wondering if guys from other areas that arent pros know that they have to be on a list to get on the base, and does anyone know if you have to pay to just go out there not to race?

 

I expect there to be some serious national type talent at this event.

Well you have to be on the access list or you cant get on base. You also have to pre-register and there is only one way I know and that is the link I posted. In the description on that site is says you and all guests have to be on the access list...So if someone forgets to add a spose or kid and they are from out of town they car hang at the hotel.

 

Chad was saying at the last TSCC event that only the person driving the car had to be on the access list for the next ACU-4 event. I don't know why the Navy would do it different from one event to the next.

The 2004 Evolution Performance Driving School - Subaru of America - Raceworks Southeast Divisional Solo2 Championship Series. This year we will determine the class champions based on their best 3 of 4 events attended. SEDiv competitors will have to attend at least 3 events to qualify for a class championship.

Directions from Va. Beach & Chesapeake

Take I-264 East toward Va. Beach until you reach Independence Blvd. Go North on Independence Blvd for approx. 1/2 mile until you reach Shore Drive. The gate directly ahead is Gate 5. (DO NOT ATTEMPT ACCESS VIA GATE 5) Turn Left on Shore Drive and go for approx. 1 1/2 miles until you reach Gate 4. Turn right and pass through Gate 4 stopping at the Gate to verify your name on the Access List. Proceed straight on the Gate 4 Street until it ends and you reach Gator Blvd. Turn Left on Gator Blvd. and proceed for approx. .8 miles and turn right on Helicopter Street. Follow that to the end and turn left on 11th Street. Follow 11th Street all the way to the ACU-4 Gate where you must be checked against the Access List one more time.

Do you think they would want to know that Shore dr is not 1/2 mile from 264? It looks as though they have copied the TSCC directions.
