I gotta get some extra wheels and tires first. My first event probably wont be until summer time. I should have some extra wheels and tires by then. I see a bunch on the RB Motoring site that are cheap, ugly as all hell, but cheap.

But I will be attending if I get the day off. Maybe I'll run into somebody from the boards.

My drifter buddy Dustin went down this stretch of road in our area (Military Hwy) and it is lined with nothing but auto shops and tire salvage lots. He ended up talking to some owners of the used tire places and ended up letting them know that he was going to be going through tires like crazy. They owner that ended up giving him the best deal ended up saying that if he really goes through tires with frequency like that, he'd be more than willing to give him a great deal on all of them. The last event he went to he got 4 fairly good tires of similar make for about $25.00. Not too shabby...

I know you're in Richmond so this doesn't help a whole helluva lot, but maybe you can find places in Richmond like this

Thanks for the tip Ninja. I'll have to check that out down here. If not I have a few friends in VA Beach that can look for me.

Do you guys think the factory RX-8 wheels (18inch) are strong enough for drifting? There's a guy on another forum selling some curbed ones for cheap.
