It would absolutely be fun. It would also be a lot more expensive to put on (insurance would likely require air fencing & staffed ALS ambulance on hand, etc.)

I'll answer this one, since I have only about 30 years running at Langley and 20 years of setting up autocrosses. I always do a fairly indepth drivers meeting. Most of the experienced guys know it by heart, but for the novices, I like to make damn sure they know what to do and when to do it. I might even try to scare them a little since Langley has those big white walls around the outside. Unlike some places, Langley is a ton of fun, but it can bite you in the ass. I wanna make sure there isn't any "jackassery" at our events to mske sure A! we stay in good graces with the powers that be at the track and B) so your ride doesn't go home on the hook all rearranged! BTW, I do own a bodyshop......

12:00pm First Timer Freebie Runs
12:45pm Heat 1 (heat 2 drivers work)
est 3:00pm Heat 2 (heat 1 drivers work)
est 5:00pm cleanup
6:00pm gates close
Everyone on site will need to sign the waiver and get a wristband immediately (at the table by the building).
Only drivers and officials are allowed over the wall, i.e. inside the track itself.
Passengers are not allowed unless they are NASA-X instructors.
Spectating is free and encouraged.
