ACU4 Little Creek Auto-x, april 16th
#73 & #79! I'm not sure on the scca class that our spec e30 runs in. Last time they placed the car in STX but that doesn't seem right at all. It's a completely stock motor. It's does have exstensive suspension modifications but.....Can someone help me out with this? If it helps the nasa class is "SO."
p.s. The car is a 1987 bmw 325i aka e30.

i'll probably say DSP. cages aren't allowed in STX. miatas with mods go in CSP, as well as the Spec Miatas. the e30 goes to DSP, so i don't see a problem with a spec e30 in there.

If your running your R-compound tires none of the ST classes apply. If your interior is stripped your in a Mod class, but I'm not sure which one. The SP classes are at heart for cars that are Street Prepared..... For whats it worth no national level car other than a Stock class car is really streetable.
From what I've seen, its a Mod car. It reminds me of the DSP E30 that ran in Atlanta last year and everyone was pissed that they were able to get away with DSP. It didn't do well so everyone ended up not really caring.
i don't think anyone will have a problem with it. there are some fast DSP guys around here running e36s and car-wise, i'm pretty sure the e36s will out perform an e30. i think you'd be impressed. when you see the fender flares terry baker is running on his e36 you will bust one i'm sure, heh.
Terrys car is an E46
And I really dont like this idea that if you know your car is in the wrong class its ok because you wont beat the fast guys. If the car is in the wrong class its in the wrong class.
