i've been spoiled by ACU4 and I was working late last night till about 7:30 this morning so I would have been dead tired at pungo.

I am afraid that West Point takes the lead on the best Auto-X place in VA that I know of...but this place is FUN AS HELL. I do not think I am going to be able to make it to the one in Pungo on the 9th so I am going to go ahead and plan to be at this one on the 16th. Do you know the price of this event by the way?

It should be $20 for non SCCA/TSCC members.
I haven't been to West Point yet, so I can't offer an opinion on it, but from the video I've seen, it does look good. Looks like they were driving on real roads as well.

i'll be there in the MR2 i think. ACU-4 is way better for autox than west point in my opinion due to the quality of the pavement and ability to create all kinds of courses. oh yeah, got my first win there too =]
