i was mistaken..

well they should have had a 3.8. or even the 4.3. 195 hp and 250 ft./lbs. of tq would have done wonders for that car....

 

oh yeah the 3.8 that made 235 that i was thinking about was found in the 96-up Monte Carlo SS (yes i know it is a sick joke). They aren't bad. just not very well tuned. we al know what the 3.8 is capable of. (GTP, Regal GS and buick GN for starters...)

 

there is no such thing as a 2.4 Ecotec. Thats the new 2.2 Ecotec. All the third Gens(95-up) come with wither 2.2OHV, 2.2 DOHC(ecotec), 2.3 and 2.4. Im unlucky enough to own one...
