would it give me more power?
running ls/vtec, b16 head on ls bottom end got gsr cams to put in, would they help me any? not trying to spend alot of money on aftermarket cams just want to kno if they would help any? if so more bottom end or top end?
The increase in power will be about 1/4 of the power you would get from a correctly done valve lash job + oil change.
Sell them and think about what you buy next time. If you havent baught them be glad you posted it first. for $200 you could easily find a used nitrous kit. THAT is big bang for the buck.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but in making power...you get what you pay for. There's no real "cheap" way to do it when dealing with bolt ons...and yes, cams can be concidered a bolt on.
Now a mild built ls/vtec with some oversized CTR's, your b16 head, an ITR/CTR intake manifold and some CTR cams would definately be a good start. and something to build on. But it could cost almost $1000 to do it with what you have now.
A nitrous kit...although cheap, tends to be installed cheaply causing more problems than they're worth. Most (NOT ALL) NO2 users find themselves blowing up motors a short time after install because the setup was installed with no tuning or upgrades needed to run the system safely.
In the end you will spend more money in one year refilling, upgrading/tuning, or buying a new motor after blowing it up, than what it would cost to do what I mentioned above.
It all goes back to what I said before...you get what you pay for, and with a
a used nitrous kit...THAT big bang you hear is really your motor.
