Default pilot power/power 2ct

Michelin recently announced the recall of select Michelin Pilot Power and Pilot
Power 2CT 120/70ZR17 front tires. The affected front motorcycle tires show 'Made
in France' markings and were sold in the United States and Canada.

Affected tires can be identified by the following sidewall markings:
1) a 'Made in France' label
2) DOT 6UCW 980T or DOT 6UCW 979T label
(Please see attached PDF for photos)

We wanted to alert you of this important safety issue and pass on this important
information from Michelin. Replacement tires are available at no cost
(including mounting and balancing) to consumers through your local participating
Michelin motorcycle tire retailer.

Please read the attached PDF and take a printed copy with you to your local
Michelin dealer to receive your replacement tires. Please do not ship recalled
tires back to KneeDraggers or contact us to receive replacements.

For additional information, please call Michelin Consumer Relations at (866)
324-2835.

We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate your business!

Thank You!

they contacted me being a dealer. They said the recall should be done on everybody's tires who meet the guidelines, but michilen them selves still does not have a process on trading them out, however they will cover the tire, and mount and balance. However they also made a big point for me to get out that the tires are still usable while you wait for the recall to take affect, but they made it extra special to inform everyone that they are safe a "legal speeds"

the problem is the tread. the groves aren't the same from side to side, I think they were trying to explain. None the less, their safe at reasonable speeds.
