i agree, like pat said, ive been through a few trannys and it is mostly due to the clutch, although you sure as hell arent going to lose any power to the ground because the damn clutch can definitely hold it, and sometimes its not that bad on the street, once it gets too hot it is a pain, ill never put another 6 puck in my car unless i have to,ill be going street disc, ill be using a 6 puck in my race car though.....but never again with a 6 puck.......i have the same clutch as dude, clutch specialties 6 puck sprung with 2500 lb pressure plate, good clutch, not the best if you dont want to break shit.....

HOWEVER....the 6 puck SPRUNG HUB cluthes enable you to feather the clutch and daily drive liek a charm and you will never have problems. thats the fact.
Once I get a new clutch and flywheel and take mine back out I will show you pictures of how fine they are. Flywheel is rediculously grooved.

The clutch dug into my flywheel and pressure plate and showed no signs of sliping. If I didn't break the tranny (cause it grabbed 3rd hard and broke a fork) I probably would have blew a flywheel up before thinking about clutch probs.

If you like replacing flywheels and shit on a regular basis do it up. The clutch simply isn't designed to be in a daily drive its ment to be in a race car that gets torn apart for inspection on a regular basis.

Thats the funniest think I've heard in my life.
A stock honda clutch being the same as a 6 puck.

Sorry man the thought of that just makes me laugh.

i agree, if it feels like a stock clutch, then you prolly dont have a 6 puck in there, unless you have the strongest legs in the world and massive amounts of pressure differences are nothing to you or you have no feelins in your legs and body and when the car shakes because your not giving enough gas and you cant feel it, then good to be you..........

I've been through 3 trannies on my car since I put in my 6 puck. My brother has broken 2 in his acura with one. Ricky has broken a couple cause of his.

They grab to hard and don't give enough to loose the majority of the shock on the drive train. They also are really harsh on synchros and stuff.

I will never put one in my daily driver or an AWD again. My brother refuses to put one in his integra. He runs high 11's on a street disk and is plenty happy with it.

HAHA. I like having to use both feet to push the clutch in...

Ricky's hasn't broken yet and he lets ME drive it.. I just think its because of how hard you push the car

I'm new to the board, but I have an ACT 6 puck with HD pressure plate and it's wonderful. My left leg is a tad bit bigger than my right leg though. =)
