turbos are more efficient because they don't rob power from the engine to power the turbine. i don't understand how hard that is to comprehend. i think http://auto.howstuffworks.com/ is a good resource.

I dont think you can argue in general super vs turbo.. there are so many turbo's and blowers out there.. it all depends on the setup...

Like if I ran a IHI, or a stock eclispe turbo on a 429 CJ at 50psi its not goin to be as good as a wielend roots type made for the engine..

But if I run a VW socorocoforoiifnsdlfjoi blower on a 429CJ and a t04e/t3 on a 2.3 that was selected for the setup.. the turbo will be better



There is no right or wrong answer which one will be better.. or more effeicent.. I guess in general you can say turbo's...


I have never thought heat from the exhuast housing causes a difference in compressor housing temps...

10 psi at 100 degrees is alot denser then 10 psi at 300 degrees.
