400hp goal? hmmmmm T3/T04b V1/V2 or H-3 compressor. Both flow above 45lb/min.

60-1 flows 65lbs/min but may be a little big for you. but you'd reach that 400 hp at a lower boost level than with the above compressors i mentioned.

A 50, 57 or 60 trim T04e would also work great. Mate it to a stage 3 turbine in a .63 or .82 a/r housing. Thats a cookie cutter turbo that has worked great for beginner/intermediate racers.

The 60-1 according to the new Turbonetics catalogue flows 57lb/min, so either they flow less now which I doubt or they truely tested and are now giving the corrected flow #s. The 57, 60 trim T04Es should do it or a 60-1 also. Good luck Chris!

terr dog.....

there are so many flow ranges out there i dont even try to think about sizing. just try one and if it aint enough go bigger. blah math blah

i was getting my info from the printouts from majestic turbos. they have the exact sheets garrett produced back in 85 or whenever all those wheels were released. the top of my sheet gives diameter of exducers and inducers and tested flow. so

but either way we both know how the 60-1 responds ...no matter how bad i said it was in my calculation days.

did you hear what i got? the PT61 GT40 compressor wheel (56trim 82mm) with a precision turbo T4 wheel. forgot the size but its nice and big. shes bigger than a 60-1

do you not like the T04b V1/V2 compressor? what came in the drag kits? the T04b V1/V2 compressor flows 48lbs/min which should just do what chris needs and still be a spool king.

I think the Super V wheel is great even though my Drag kit should've been a SUper V but was actually an S trim small! Remember the exhaust wheel does alot and A/R too. I love the 60-1 truely. I do need to step up to true T4 , soon .

They have a V and Super V, the Super V has a 3" Major and inducer is 2.180" where as the Regular V is 2.75" Major and same 2.180 inducer. The To4B wheels all have a regular and Super wheel with the bigger Major except for the 60-1 and 62-1 , but the 60-1 has a Hi fi which has a smaller inlet 2 3/4" but flows approx 90-95% of the regular 60-1 with the 4" inlet.

Can we say past it's efficiency range? That's why when I kept turning the boost up on that BIATCH it didn't do any more shit, I wanted 400whp but that turbo wasn't doing it. 60-1 make 550whp and 360+ft/lb torque we'll see this weekend.
