Tranny swap help
My friend just bought an auto 97 240sx and I'm trying to help him out swap the trannies out from auto to manual. I've read somewhere that the S13 tranny can't be used in the 96-98 240sx's b/c of OBDI and OBDII differences. However, if I don't need to pass emissions then it doesn't really matter.
So b/c emissions isn't checked should I not worry what year the tranny comes in?
