Tranny Swap
Hey guys im swappin an EX tranny onto my HX (shorter, stronger gears)
It should bolt right on im just wonderin what tools i'll need and basically how hard it'll be.
Any info is appreciated, thanks

yeah it will bolt right in. not too difficult. the hardest part will be removing the roll pin from the shifter linkage and actually lining the tranny back up to the motor
it is a good time to think about replacing the clutch also if it has alot of miles on it or has slipped any. good time to upgrade!!!
i have done lots of these! let me know if you need any help, or i can do it for you for a nominal fee

Yea i'm upgrading the clutch too...I dont konw what stage clutchmaster i want to go with though...
How much of a fee are you talkin??? Cuz im sure ill screw it up

well i would at least get the stage 2, you could get the stage 3 as well. the prices are the same. i have the cm stage 3 clutch and cm aluminum flywheel. i like it, pretty grabby too!

Allright sweet thanks for all the info im gunna have to save up for a lil longer so i can get the clutch and tranny at once (just makes sense...) so when i get all tehe cash ill let ya know.

4bangercivic, let chahonda do the work. he does good work and gives great deals. hes given me hook ups everytime i needed one. hes a good guy, and he does good work. yo mike, you figure out when i can come get that y7 motor? i may be hauling the 98 down there and somehow putting it in the trunk.
