tranny question
i gotta gsr swap with hat i was told is a sir tranny .anyways when i get on it and have to shift fast from first to 2nd its a pain i gotta force it a lil i mean under reg. driving its fine but under hard condtions its hard to to do and every other gear is fine. i gotta stage 1 clutch and i think a lightened flywheel. any one know what i can do???

That happens to all brands of synchro'd trannies if they're abused. Some synchros are beefier than others, but they're still all usually some type of soft metal and don't like to get the piss beat out of them.

honda synchros almost never go bad.
Most likely its the hub/slider(parts are usually 175-350. then add labor)
Bbut it could be a slew of other causes unrelated to internals of the transmission.
if you want more info or have a more specfic question. let me know. Honda trans are cake to me. (my race car used to break them every other race till i upgraded the correct parts)
