Default TRanny identification

ok so i got a ys1 cable tranny non lsd..believed to come out of a stock ls.. but i dont know what year car the tranny came from.. and this is important when buyin the clutch for it .i have the identification number but is there any way i can find out what year car it came from..please help

ys1 is either b17 gsr tanny or an ls off the 92-93

You need a LKR from a FG to connect to your 8rttE.




Next time post up the type of vehicle: make, model, year and consider putting in your location and vehicle info in the profile section (click the "User CP") button.

why does he need to? it clearly states everything in his post thats pertinent to his question

exactly. you can use a clutch disc and pressure plate from any 92-01 clutch kit, but the throwout bearing needs to be for a 90-93 trans.
