Toyota: MkIII MR2 Engine Swap

Default Toyota: MkIII MR2 Engine Swap

MR2 Spyder - 2003
(or any year with the 6-speed seq tranny).
Part of the ZZ Engine Family (1zz-fe /w vvt-i).

Is it possible to put a 2ZZ-GE (Celica GT-S Engine) into a MR2 with the 6-speed sequential manual transmission? If not, what about the 5-speed transmission? Would they match up? Would they work together? Will this engine fit into the bay?

Would it be worth the time and money?
