If you plan to work on your car at all a torque wrench is one of the better tool purchases you can make.

But if you're feeling cheap I'm pretty sure most of the parts stores (Advance, Pep Boys) have tools you can borrow. Although I'm not sure if a torque wrench is one of them. Call the one nearest you tomorrow if you haven't found someone with a wrench by then.

If you take your wheels off you need to own a torque wrench. Just buy it.

jeezuz, grab a 1/2 inch wrench and a 17mm 1/2" socket and pull till u can't pull anymore...tell ya what, i'll give u maaad props if u can snap the end of that bolt off w/ that craftsman toolset ur gonna be using since u cant afford a decent torque wrench....but on a serious note, use a nice 9" long 1/2" drive ratchet, and a 1/2" 17mm socket (shallow) and just torque it to almost as much as u can muster and it won't come off. calipers don't really mind being over torqued...toyota calls for 145 ft/lbs on camry calipers, my 3/8" impact delivers over 220 ft/lbs, never had a problem =o)

Harbor Freight has a 1/2" torque wrench for $12.99

It's probably not the best one out there, but it's way better than just guessing.
