no vtec on h22
I have question. can the air idle control valve could be fucking up my vtec. i already put in a new vtec solenoid. still not working. my check engine light is on. my car idles really high. my intake makes this humming noise too. please help

first off is what kind of car is it to find the cels i know civics there s 2 pin connector by the ecu you jump that over then turn the key on and your check engine light will blink you get numbers from that

Then there should be a plug in the same area as the ECU. Put a jumper wire in it, turn the key to the "on" position and retrieve the code. Check your service manual to find out what the CEL number means

jose, it's chris. how long and how many flashes there are determines what code it is, and that'll tell you what the problem is right there. We'll get it done.

how are you on oil??
over on the passenger side of the car next to the ECU there is a little plug that you hookup with a piece of wire to get the codes to flash
long flash=10
short flash=1
