Swapping B16 Heads

Default Swapping B16 Heads

I might need help swapping out my old head for a new one. What is th easiest way to do this?

Remove valve cover.
Remove timing belt.
Remove distibutor.
Remove cam caps.
Remove cashafts.
Remove 10 head bolts.
Remove two bolts that hold the intake manifold to the brace that bolts to block.
Remove various hoses and electrical connectors.
Remove cylinder head.

Getting a service maunual for the engine wouldn't be a bad idea at all, specially if this is your first attempt at this task.

the easiest way would be to pay me and scott to do it.....haha......and you forgot to remove the header scatnasty.....

bennett. you have no faith. i already have one head removed and the other is ready to be put in, i just need to break the headbolts loose from the new motor and ill start reassembling.

youre better off with patience so i can make sure its all done correctly. sorry that im living at my girls house right now and dont have all my tools, or else it'd be done already.
