put a cd player in my beater and the srs light came on any ideas ????

 

You cut/crush a wire that goes to it?

 

was thinkin that was just being lazy checked all fuses that wire must be tucked in dash behind radio will check it out thanks for tip

 

Be very, very careful working around SRS stuff. Airbags can be lethal at close range when you're not sitting in a seat. Just a warning.

All SRS harnesses are usually yellow taped, so you should be able to find them really quickly and see if there is a visible problem.

 

What is your Daily Driver.

 

You drive a late 90's accord, and when you disconnected the battery to change the radio, you fried the SRS computer. (If I'm right, I deserve some kind of prize! LOL)

naw its a eg coupe

 

check your wiring either behind the radio or too the radio.... you might have jump power off of the wrong wire or cut/ disconected the wrong wire

 

i will check that out i used a direct aftermarket plug to the in dash wiring to the deck but will check it out at the deck to that plug and just thought of it i did blow the back up fuse under hood and thought had broke deck and found fuse and replaced light stays on all the time
