Default 2001 Civic EX SRS Light

2001 Civic EX SRS light is on and it won't pass inspection till its cleared. Already cleared it once using a DIY but on the way to get it reinspected it came back on.

Need a shop on the peninsula (York/Hampton/NN) that can read what code it's throwing so I can get it fixed and inspected.
Thanks.

Try Custom Car Care. ABS brakes that work are much better than ABS brakes that don't. If you already reset it and it came back, it's probably just one of the wheelspeed sensors. If you're unlucky, it could be a cracked tone ring on the axle, which usually means you need a new axle because most of them are pressed on.

That's pretty ghetto. And illegal if you want to sell the car, but that's a different topic.

Its the SRS light not the ABS light. I'm hoping its a seatbelt sensor so it's covered by Honda.

+1....I work at a Honda dealership as well. The repair will be free of charge if the srs light is not on due to an accident.

for lifetime replacement of safety belts.
