Default srs light

I need to reset my srs light< but i wasnt sure if anyone know of anywhere that I could find out how to do this. I had a geocity website that i have used before but when I went to look at it today it say site no longer is available. can someone pls help

That system constantly checks itself. If you have corrected the problem it should go away with a cycle of the key. A stored code will still be present, but the light should go out. You cant just turn it off.

What's the year make model?

95 eg, I know that you cant just turn it off but theres a way to reset the system. Just a turn of the key doesnt do it I know it more involved then that

If there is a short or bad component in the system the light wont go away. Its like if you're engine has a misfire, and is setting a code. Then you remove the battery cables to clear the light, and NOT fix the misfire. The light will come back.

Get the system diagnosed and repaired. Good luck with that.

Just found my notes take I wrote down last time. I got the system reset. Sry for missing info I had removed my dash and was putting it back in, thought everything was plugged in but pass side airbag was not when I started car. Once I realized my dumb mistake I then needed to reset the system.
