your probrably putting more air in the chamber than you can push out of it. the headers should free that up a little. i know its not much but just my guess

too much airflow in, and not enough airflow out. i'm sure if you got a header and catback/full exhaust you'd definitely see some good gains.

well the only thing restrictive on the exhaust is the stock manifold. It has a 2 1/4 in catback. I guess its time for turbo, cuz i dont wanna buy a header, then have no use for it after the turbo goes on. Still open for suggestions.

maby try a different throttle body, i dunno im guessin it would help after you go turbo , that would be the last thing i would think of because im guessing you are gonna change out the injectors , fuel rail etc. for turbo...

turbo mag used the skunck2 manifold on their 200hp integra project car and were actually making less power with it until they had the whole system tuned with an aem comp. but yeah im going to jump on the bigger exhaust track bandwaggon. what the use of inhaling more air if you cant exhale, your still gonna sufficate!

I should be installing mine tomm. Hopefully see a good bit of diffrence. So far its a D16Y8 and it has DC Sports 4-2-1 headers, Apex-i N1 Cat back exhaust, Chipped P28 ECu with Skunk 2 Chip, Walbro 255 Fuel pump, Iceman CAI and Nology Hot Wires. When i put the Intake manifold on i am Also putting on an OBX hi-Flow Fuel Rail and Adjustable FPR. Need to Hit the Ignition soon, Gonna be getting too much fuel and air and not enough spark.
