ok valves are adjusted, as far as the tune goes its the same exact setup as before the rebuild and i just replace everything with same parts, the block i got off here and it was already honed and checked and all that got stuff. i just think i ran it to hard without proper breakin and it caused the rings to not seat right.

You dont -ever- break in a rebuilt motor unless it is ON the dyno or have a wideband attached for a proper street tuning. From idle to partial throttle you tune it so that your A/F ratio is right where it should be. From there, drive keeping within the "low" maps to a dyno for WOT tuning.

You don't just slap on an unknown ECU/tune with a rebuilt, it's posted all over the place. I may sound like I take it personal, but damn, it's all over the place from those that ARE knowledgeable. So, I just don't understand why some insist we haven't a clue when we give advice. Maybe I will open a shop around here despite the area being over-saturated with niche market business... looks like business would be fairly decent.

Sorry to break the news to you, but, this is very likely what happened. Do a leakdown test (and throw a compression check in there more for shits and giggles) and find out your answer for sure.

That or the rebuild was shit with improper clearances.. tough to say, I didn't build it to know for certain.

white smoke is oil not blue smoke buddy

Not usually. Spend some time behind a domestic minivan and you'll change your mind.

heres another idea on how you fucked up..... if you used a stone hone or the guy who honed it used one. he could have honed it out of round.... ie no longer a cirlce..... happens when people hone for too long trying to get scaring out of the cylinder wall.

does your car make a "dewwwwsshhhhee" sound when running?

A possibility, especially if say, a K-line or similar isn't used. Then, does the machinist have at least an OD, V micrometer and bore gauge? No? I wouldn't go to them.. to say the least.

Either way, OP, you pretty much know what to do and/or how to find your issue. I wish you luck with it..

IMO. When starting a FRESH motor up.
Stock injectors. Stock cams. Stock ECU that won't go crazy about sensors (i.e. obd2).

Washing the cylinders out sucks on a brand new motor.
