Default i need motor rebuilt

ok heres the deal i have (yes it is a slow sohc)a sohc motor that i need to have rebuilt but for kinda of cheap. can anyone please help me. i have already bought new main and rod bearings rings and all of the gaskets and berings needed..i need it done asap so if u can help me give me a call at 377 5905 and my name is Tommy... thanks

i think you need to get the crank out and inspect it to know what size bearings you need, i have the exact same problem, spun a bearing in my y8 and now its sitting in my garage, and has been since december!!

everyone also told me that it would cost more to rebuild than to get a new swap

I highly suggest selling that motor as a complete swap to a shop, I suggest autoworks off of military...and then buy a new swap...you can get a good engine cheaper than you think. once you get the motor install it yourself with a friend that knows what they're doing...some shops will actually allow you to make payments, so it wont be that hard on you financially
