ok i went to a transmission shop (yorktown transmissions) araound here and i asked him to listen to my tranny...it was making some noises and i wanted to check it out...ne wayz... i thought it was my throw-out bearing and then i was like well what about my pilot bearing and he was liek "its a honda, they dont have pilot bearings" i was liek ok then y did the last shop i went to tell me to get a clutch w/ a pilot bearing and throw out bearing?? WTF

i even looked on ebay and shit for liek clutch packages and the decriptions under the items says "this clutch package come with a throw-otu bearing and a pilot bearing and alignment tool...blah blah blah....

so my question is DO HONDA'S HAVE PILOT BEARINGS? if they do im not taking my car to yorktown transmissions b/c he obviously dont know WTF hes talking about???

 

yes. Don't go back to that fuck tard. their are 2 bearing sets when putting on the transmission.

 

yes they do have pilot bearings... pilot bearing is in the small bearing you put in the flywheel. dont' go to that tranny shop.. it's a sign.

 

thanks. I couldn't remember which one went in the flywheel. I didn't want to say anything and be wrong...

 

i just got my motor built at abacus and when they were taking the tranny off the old engine the pilot bearing came out in about 5 little pieces...
