ok so a year ago i overheated and what do ya know it happend again...

i had the ac on driving on the interstate, started to get hot, pulled over, my upper radiator hose was kinda off the neck (which was cracked about halfway.
put some water in it, cranked the heat, ran allright. drove to work, ran allright, tried the ac again, made it down the street and it went hot again, this time the hose was still on? limped it home. put another radiator in, water wetter.... check ed the compression and it was 200 in all 4

drove it today ran fine with no ac, then tried ac again and it started to get hot.

ran the car with the cap off and it was slowly rising then started gushing, car temp wasnt rising..

i dont know what else to check, i replaced the thermostat last time this happend.

should i just take it to a shop and have them clean it/pump it or whatever they do?

if so who/where/how much?

cut the bottom off of a 2ltr bottle, put elec tape around the neck, wedge it in the raditor hole, fill with water. turn on the car and let it run untill the thermostat opens. massage all of your rad hoses.

done

 

caz already bled it pretty good.

yeah was def gettin hot on the way to get some food, no ac on

 

probably a blockage...I went through this on my last motor, replaced radiator/hoses/temp sensor/water pump/thermostat/and flushed the crap out of it. Coolant was nice and green even after bleedin the crap out of it it still ran on the warm side. Pulled off the top hose and it was lime green, pulled off the bottom and it was mud brown.

 

i dunno, i did the bottle thing, filled it up, the resivior filled up, leaked some, no bubbles came out of the bottle (dont know if they were supposed to)

took it for a drive, got on it, didnt get hot, turned the ac on got on it, didnt get hot.

came to the conclusion that shes just a lil bitch on birth control

1. slow
2. eats a lot
3. gets bitchy and acts up twice a year


unless it overheats on the way to pick up her car, wish me luck
