Default No power

I have a 99 Civic EX coupe with a b16a swap...the car has no power and backfires and sounds like a 4 wheeler....i replace wires plugs cap rotor...what do u think is the problem

No CEL at all...it also starts and idles fine when cold....when it starts warmin up it cuts off unless i give it gas

^^^What he said and verify the fuel injector plugs are on the correct cylinder. Read the manual and it should have the color code for the right cylinder.....

Well, if it was timing it would do it all of the time wether is was cold or hot. Did you use a obd1 b16 or obd2 b16?

No, that's not true. There are different enrichment logic depending on whether the ECU is detecting hot start or cold start. If the timing is mechanically off, it will do it all the time, but if the ECU is working off of faulty sensor data, it can change the ignition. This could very well be a MAP or TPS problem, or a bad knock sensor. Once the engine starts warming up there are some fuel trims based on the sensor data, so it could be one of those.

You're saying it's misbehaving at idle and off idle once it warms up, right?
