IMO....a turbo kit consists of a turbo, manifold, bov, wastegate, boost controller, intercooler, ic piping, new injectors, fuel pump, fuel rail, and a fpr...along with guages and some sort of fuel controller (afc, hondata etc.).....now if u can find that for 800 bucks (legit) then wow....but u wont there is no such thing as a cheap turbo kit....because if u wanted to cut an edge and get an old volvo intercooler and install it on your car, thats cool, but if u decide u want to get a bigger intercooler later, which would be a good idea, then u will need to re-do all of the intercooler piping(which includes purchasing more pipe) and buy a new intercooler...it is cheaper to do it right the first time and it is NOT in any way cheap!

for low boost (<7psi) an fmu setup is fine, but i still would rather have at least an safc setup if it were me. and if you read his post, he said he's running 450cc injectors & a vafc

upgrading the fpr, fuel rail and fuel pump are essentials in turboing whatever u guys are talkin about....do it right the first time as i said or you will be sorry
and for low boost (7 psi) an fmu is not fine.....i wouldnt run more than 4 psi on a fmu on my motor....if u blow your D series motor ok, just get 400 bucks and get a new motor....if i were to blow my motor.....thats about 2G's be smart, ive only heard bad stuff about the fmu

fmu's are bad, but they are reliable to 7psi. there are plenty 11 second civics on h-t that run fmu setups. I don't like them, but it doesn't mean they don't serve their purpose. And as for upgrading your fuel rail, its overkill, at least for boosting accords.
