I don't own a MKIV but I do own a MK2
I am suffering now due to a NA to NA-T conversion on my 6MGE... basically it is better to get a turbocharged Supra than convert a NA Supra... cost is almost the same but with the conversion... tuning and everything... is all the time and effort to do it... while a staight Turbo will be much easier due to it is Turbocharged already and with some dollars you'll be BPU soon

okay if you still decide to go with the NA... if it is a 5 speed... I will buy the tranny from you so that I can use that W58 to my 6MGTE engine... LMK what you come up and which one you will get

buy a blown up Turbo Suora... that way u have an abundance of parts and a extra block to build...... FUCK STOCK MOTORS......

Stock internals can get you into the 9's actually, with a bigger turbo and a fuel setup...

 

Trying to make a NA a TT would be a PITA and in my opinion a waste of time. Not only that it would be VERY costly. Also the NA block as well as the tranny is weaker than TT. If you want a turbo supra buy one that started off as a turbo. If you don't you will ended up spending alot of money, and wasting alot of effort and still have a weaker car
