oh didn't know that; never been much into Supras. For most cars, swapping in a 6speed requires alot of money not just for the tranny but for the housing and modifications needed. And I've seen some trannies go for @ $10K.

 

Its gonna be a pain! I do have an auto tranny and driveshaft for sale though

Edit: I just took the auto out and put the 6spd in. I didnt do the NA to TT conversion.

 

Total cost of converting the auto to a 6spd was around $3500. I know of a local guy who put a single on his NA. With a lot of work and tuning, I think he's put somewhere over 400+. IF you manage to find an NA for 13K or under, for around an additional 10k you could have around 500+hp depending, but with the TT, some mods and a 75 shot, you'd be somewhere around there too. Its all in how much of a deal you get.

well i just got done talkin with altered, and they said basically the price will range 1400-3400 depending if i want aftermarket goodies =) also that's the price if i bring them the front clip or complete swap =)..its gettin cheapier than i thought =)

Awesome. Dont let them put the aftermarket stuff on unless the motor has to be opend up or taken out. If you can bolt in on yourself, do it. That'll make it a little cheaper.
