just take the butterflies out. it's real easy. gives you a little more top end. i don't know why but i really hate the damn butterflies! ran into that prob on my gsr hatch and then an h22 accord. butterflies=gay.

removing the butterflies will make the bottom end and midrange suck ass... i'll see if i can find the dyno but i does make a big difference on low end... i would say junk2 manifold would definatly be a better idea... the motor that had the butterflies removed was a h22...

like i said, gives you a little more top end, but as long as you have the right engine management, you can still get the bottom end straight. i ran at the track both ways and got the same time. with a bone stock gsr in a hatch 14.2. about three runs each way, with the wrong ecu, i was using a stock p28 sohc ecu. that is all.

yea .. i hear ya .... but it sounds like a wiring problem if you went thru ignitors like that .... my cousin runs a built b16 with pr3/hondata ecu with 9200 revlimit and has never gone thru ignitors ... been running on the same tune for 1 1/2 years

at first i was thinking that but for an hf wiring you don't need to change any distributor wiring... so i just said fuck it...obd1 it is... i haven't been through any ignitors on this one... knock on wood...
