As a general rule of thumb, cams that work well for N/A use aren't the greatest for turbo use.

Wrong Many people now are starting to use Skunk2 Stage 2 cams for turbo and making alot of power. Also combinatiosn of Skunk Stage 1 exhaust with Jun Type 2 intake cam. Many many many high lift long duration cams are being used these days on turbo set ups.

That sounds good, the exhuast side is the pickier of the two, which is probably why that Jun stage1 is popular instead of a more radical grind. The intake can go a little more radical, yeah.
I should have qualified my statement as exhaust side for DOHC stuff.
I know people use stage X cams and make good power, but the fact remains that (for exhaust especially) the higher tuned they are for N/A use, the less optimum they'll be for a turbo setup. It's mostly overlap, duration, etc., that's the problem. More lift is a good thing, it's the change in timing and duration that can get you into trouble. This really depends on how well optimized the whole system is though, it may work fine for you.
