Alright quick few questions, I picked up a 88 crx hf yesterday and brought her home this afternoon. When you accelerate it start spitting and sputtering then would accel rapidly. then when you driving it start spitting and sputtering. It idles excellent. I beleive its either the plugs, wires, or fuel filter but i wanna make sure. Thanks in advance.

 

sounds like a fouled plug and dirty fuel filter...a quick fix either way just do a tune up......cap,button,plugs,wires,fuel filter...and you should be golden.....

 

If that does not fix it, replace the dixxy.

 

your timing belt could be off timing.
