Re: Smoke problem
if its white smoke could be something with the cooling system.....blue smoke is oil related....like my 240 blows smoke when its low on oil...rear main seal is gone....but i would say check out your water pump and check to see if the radiator is cold at the bottom and hot at the top after its been running for a bit....check hoses for the same....top hose hot bottom hose cold....i had a civic that would run hot jut sitting for a few and turned out to be the water pump...
hope this is of some help...if not atlease i tried

Re: Smoke problem
there are a couple solutions to this...
1. turbo is getting too much oil psi (most only need 10-20 psi, while the line from the block pushes around 60 max or whatever it is, this overflows the turbo causing it to push through seals and through your exhaust.)buy an oil restrictor from stealthmode.com this reduces the oil flow.
2. your headgasket could be slowly starting to lift. this will cause white smoke.
3.your valve seals, piston rings, or ringlands could be bad
there are many reasons it could be smoking man...
good luck
