Default Need Help Civic Si

I have a 99 Civic Si and when I accelerate the car the car sputters and doesn't want to go anywhere. When i just feather accelerator the car drives fine. Under 2000 rpms is when it is the worst. Also what has happened lately was when i fill up the car the car struggles to start and I have to hit the gas to start the car.

Sounds like a problem in the fuel system. Bad fuel pump, injectors, fuel filter. How are the spark plugs? Bad MAP sensor?

I'm not throwing a cell because I am running a uberdata with an obd1 ecu. Is it possible that if it misfires it can cause the car to hesistate like that.

I'm going to check the spark plugs when it stops raining.

Have you checked the cap and rotor?

Also, when was the last time it had the fuel filter replaced? I think it should be replaced every 15,000 miles.

well having to hit the gas to get it to start is a symptom of flooding.
seems to me like you have a fueling issue. are you running real rich? black smoke? are your injectors leaking? WHAT SPARK PLUGS ARE YOU USING? what else has been done to the car? turbo? fuel pump? have you tried switching back to the stock ecu? i need some more info if i am going to be able to help you.
