Optimized for what? What engine, what grade gas, what modifications? You can't optimize anything for a non-stock engine, you have no idea what the mods are and how well they work for that tune..

This is either not getting through to you, or you aren't listening. I'm trying very, very hard to help you out here. Ok, lets start this again.

You already have a chipped ECU.

You need to go get tuned, or you need to use a stock program (chip).

If you want more power, and you want it to run right, get it tuned. If you just want it to run right, get someone to make you a stock program.

Buying another ECU with another basemap that still isn't tuned for your car, isn't going to help at all. That's where you are now, and you won't be doing anything different. Any chipped ECU is inherently compatible with Crome, Hondata, etc. That's how they work. Whoever makes you some 'basemap' is just using a program like Crome to make the basemap. Those J's Racing, Spoon, JUN, etc., chips are fake and are usually just some really rich fuel maps and some sketchy ignition maps. I have a collection of those fake programs somewhere on my storage drive; they're all different, and most of them don't resemble a good tune, unless by good tune you mean taking the stock maps and adding 20% more fuel across the board (I've seen that more than once).

The best thing you can do, based on the mods that you have, is to get a chip with a stock program (USDM or JDM) from someone, and use that until you can get tuned (or forever, it doesn't matter much with those mods). If you just want a stock ECU, there is a single jumper inside that needs to be cut (it is added as part of the chipping process) and then the ECU will use its internal memory (not the chip) and never know it was chipped. It takes much longer to remove the 4 screws that fasten down the cover of the ECU as it actually does to return the ECU to stock operation, trust me.

Yep, just cut or remove the J1 jumper to return the ecu back to stock . Also much cheaper than buying a "virgin" ecu.
