what turbo?
have you looked at the comp. map?
what's the cfm?
can you supply the fuel to run as much boost as you want?

Read the article in the new SCC where they put an Edelbrock kit on a d16.

well hell you can run 20psi if you have a small ass turbo like a t28 but you cant run 10psi if you have a t3 60-1

Well got the S-AFC II,Cartech FMU, upgraded injectors to supply the fuel for high boost. I just want to know if the bottom end can handle the stress?

you'll be fine for a while. but if you beat the shit out it, stuff's gonna break. chances are you'll probably blow the head gasket before you blow anything else, and when you do that you run the risk of block and head damage. rebuild the bottom end, put a nice thick mr. gasket on it, and some arp head bolts to hold it all together. and as far as the motor is concerned, you should be good.

no. have you ever seen a D series rod? i would put better rods in the thing before i even worried about the head gasket...

I HAVE A D16Y8 AND IM RUNNING LIKE 13-14 LBS OF BOOST AND THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE RAN INTO IS THE TURBO GOING BAD CAUSE THE BOOST IS MAXING OUT THE GREDDY TURBO CANT HANDLE SHIT UPGRADING SOON

well with a D series i would chance it, cause you can get another motor madd cheap..i wouldnt if it was a b series

sk8rmike i agree with you, but my theory was not beating the piss out of it. over time it'll wear the head gasket out, but if you go flying down the 1/4 mile often, a rod will probably go quick. i'd rather rebuild it than keep changing motors.
