i actually have a impact wrench and it doesn't work as well a big breaker bar...

i had an 8 foot pole on the end of my 1/2" socket and broke a 1/2" extension trying to get it free that way....

take a pry bar and have someone lock the flywheel with it so it dosn't move, or use a chain wrench and put around the crank pulley, then use a breaker bar to get it off. It is only torqued down to 180-190 (can't remeber exactly) it isn't that hard i have done plenty of them.
