i hit a pot hole lastnight with my 92 Sentra SER, and now my tranny is leaking from where the pass side halfshaft(longer one) goes into the tranny. i hit the pot hole really hard and my tires were slipping and i was at about 7k revs. i left a trail of tranny fluid leaving the pothole. what do you guys think happened? how can i fix it.

 

possibly the tranny seal(axle seal), maybe it bent or something and gashed or pulled out the axle seal somehow.....

 

i pulled the shaft out everything looks good but the seal came out really easy so i guess that it got disturbed by the hard bump.

 

is it leaking from the axle seal? its the seal between the half shaft and where it goes into the trans.

 

i fixed everything now, thanks though
