Intake manifold swap
Ok here is what i want to do... I have the standard d16y7, nonvtec i know... but what i want to know is can i stick a 96-00 side intake manifold on there instead of having a vertical mount, manifold, where the throttle body come strait up? the reason behind this is i have recently gotten the edelbrock turbo kit and it comes with the same style manifold as a 96-00 EX "D16y8".
Second Question...
What all do i need to get from a junkyard to make mine VTEC?
Thanks,

you can use an automatic y8 intake. that way you can use your y7 throttle body and everything will work just fine. i have done quite a bit of research into this.
you can switch your car to vtec by getting the correct harness, o2 sensor, ecu, and most of all a y8 head
how much ya pay for the edelbrock kit and where did ya get it?
i can do this conversion to vtec as well

Install the turbo on the non-vtec. Dyno it.
Swap on VTEC head. Dyno it at the same place.
I'd like to see the results.
