Default Civic Stereo Install Probs!!!!

Im putting a Sony head unit in a 98 civic, but it has a factory keyless entry/alarm sys. The brilliant Honda engineers put the chip in the factory radio. How do I retain the factory keyless system while using the Sony unit?

you have to get an adapter harness from a stereo shop that allows you to retain the factory radio. it is kept plugged in but is put down behind the dash. i had to do this on my 98 civic ex coupe. or you can just get an alarm with keyless entry and not worry about the factory radio. i did this later.
i install car alarms as well as i can hook up the adapter harness and put the factory radio in your dash. i got my adapter harness from premier auto sound 484-6822
