i need a ford, mercury expert
on a 96 cougar, the trans wont shift out of 2nd, it acts like it will but then it neutrals out. Im trying to find out how to test some electronics on it or find out if the drive clutch is out on it.....help me please

I've heard the cougar/t-birds having problems like this. No clue on exactly what it is. It being an automatic means that it could be a number of things. Good luck.
